Anita's 95th Birthday
Anita Corners, the daughter of Frank and Eunice (Groshart)  Galloway formerly of Savery, WY, passed peacefully away at Haven Health in Yuma, Arizona on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the age of 95. Anita was a 1940 graduate of Savery High School. Memorial service will be held in Wyoming at a later date. Anita had a huge heart,  a spiritual core and was deeply religious. She is in heaven and will watch over us. She will be sadly missed by all. Until we see you again grandma, we will think of you every time we see a hummingbird.
Anita is survived by a sister, Lucille (Gerald) Neary of Arvada, CO, son Kenneth "Pat" (Berniece) Corners of Yuma, AZ and a daughter Mary Corners of Rock Springs, WY as well as 3 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by: her brothers-in-law Bill (Linda) Corners of Baggs; Darold (Carolyn) Corners of Dolan Springs, AZ; Lyle (Clara) Corners of Hurricane, UT and sister-in law Carol (Russell) Robinson of Red Feather Lakes, CO. She was predeceased by her parents,  her husband Wayne Corners, sister Louise  (Paul) Lawrence and brother Eldon (Puss) Galloway as well as brother-in-law Ray (Marilyn) Corners and sister-in-law Valda (Jack) Roberts.

Obituary for John Robert Jones
John Robert Jones passed away the morning of February 15, 2017 at his home in Baggs, StateWY after battling cancer for 9 Months. His wife and sons were with him. John was born in Burdette, West Virginia to Charles Robert Jones and Nellie Erma Shaffer on June 13,1948.

John married his wife Joyce Martin in Ansted, West Virginia on March 26, 1975. They were married for 41 yrs. John and Joyce left WV the summer of 1978 to relocate to Saratoga, Wyoming and work in the logging industry. Two sons were born to John an Joyce, Jeremiah Thomas in 1980 in Laramie, WY and Jason Robert in Rock Springs,WY in 1982.

John held different jobs while living in Wyoming including logging, gas field construction, manager at Baggs Landfill, and Devon Energy for 11 yrs before retiring in 2013. He worked part time for Baggs Cemetery District for 20 plus years and the Little Snake River Soil Conservation District for 3yrs.  John enjoyed included many years of gardening, hunting, camping, and cutting wood. He loved to share these activities with family, neighbors, and friends. At night John enjoyed reading many different types of books.

John is survived by his wife Joyce of Baggs WY, son Jeremiah Thomas of Rawlins WY, and son Jason Robert and daughter-in-law Erin of Box Elder SD. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Madison, Gavin, and Joshua Jones and sisters Rosa Jones of LaPorte CO, Shirley Jones of Olive Hill KY, Betty Jones of Brinegar KY, and Phyllis and Kenneth Martin of Olive Hill KY. John was preceded in death by his parents Charles Robert and Nellie Erma Jones, a grandson Jaren Xander Jones, baby brother Roger Dale of WV, sister Violet Haga of WV, sister Ruth Crawford of WV, and sister Mary Jo Thompson of Georgia. John will be extremely missed by many other family, friends, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at The Valley Community Center. Donations in memory of John can be made to Little Snake River Valley Walk 4 Life through Grant's Mortuary of Craig, CO.
